This product is the third generation of wide spectrum cephalosporin for oral administration and is the precursor drug of cefpoxime. After oral administration, the product is absorbed by the intestinal tract and hydrolyzed by intestinal wall esterase to produce cefpooxime with antibacterial activity. It is mainly used for pneumonia, acute bronchitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, gonorrhea urethritis and skin and soft tissue infection caused by sensitive bacteria.
The antibacterial effect of cefpooxime is to inhibit the membrane boundary transcriptase of the bacterial cell wall system, so that the transcriptase forming cross-linking cannot be carried out.
